    It is recommended to install heat-resistant gaskets in the very first flange joint on the gas pipeline directly in front of the thermal shut-off valve. As follows from the purpose of the KTZ, in case of a fire, the thermal shut-off valve closes the gas line, excluding gas leaks through gaskets that have lost their tightness, installed on the line after the KTZ valve. At the same time, in the part of the gas pipeline remaining under pressure in front of the thermal shut-off valve, such leakage is prevented by a heat-resistant gasket that remains sealed for a sufficiently long time. Gaskets are made by special orders or serially (according to the dimensions of the flanges according to GOST). Reinforced graphite gaskets provide reliable sealing of media in flanged connections, improving the quality of protection of objects.
